Better Things EP

Better Things EP is a collection of songs from a mama of four on choosing joy no matter what it takes. Allie Murphy writes about life and hope with piano driven songs and honest lyrics. She’s been compared to both Brooke Fraser and Sara Groves, but holds her own sound with moving melodies and sincere vocals.

What others are Saying:

“Allie Murphy is the kind of songwriter you lean in and pay close attention to. Her lyrics, melodies and very presence convey the essence of a true life-listener—though she’s been stewarding her art for a while now, from my perspective, Allie is at the bright beginning of a prolific and impactful musical journey.”

Christa Wells – Nashville Award Winning Songwriter

Allie Murphy’s songwriting is the sugar that helps the medicine go down.  Her charming voice and dancing melodies carry sword-sharp real life lyric grittiness like a baby.  This song mom combines her two worlds of family and artistry in a warm blanket of truth telling.

Nicole Witt – Nashville Veteran Songwriter

A note from Allie:

My hope and prayer for the Better Things EP is to encourage listeners and creatives just like me who have felt like a fallen tree, unseen and unheard, in a society that prioritizes being known. As a mom of four, I understand the drudgery of the mundane and have felt the temptation to feel it is not enough. I have also beheld the beauty in the unseen and learned that the folding of the laundry and the wiping of little hands is actually a loving act of making things new. Kingdom work that glorifies Him.

May the Lord give you peace in your days as you (with His help) choose joy no matter your circumstances.
